Puzzle Cube Pieces

I must admit that the Puzzle Cube Project was the best project of the year. I was immediately thrilled at the prospect of building and designing my own puzzle cube when my teacher first told our class about it. He gave us grid paper at first, telling us to imagine and draw puzzle cube pieces before we actually build it. He also told us not to make the same piece twice and not to make it 2D, so it would actually be like a puzzle cube. Later on we were 27 wooden ¾ by ¾ blocks to make a puzzle cube out of using only glue. We were told not to glue all the pieces together, as that wouldn’t make it a puzzle cube, an instruction a few of my classmates didn’t follow. Once I completed my puzzle cube my teacher gave me markers and told me to color it, before using Google SketchUp to draw each piece to scale. It was a new and enjoyable experience.
